Passmore Automotive: A New Chapter, Same Local Heart

Passmore Automotive has been part of the Busselton community for over 50 years, keeping locals and visitors safely on the road. Today, we are excited to share that Passmore Automotive is under new ownership – and to introduce ourselves properly.

Passmore Automotive is now owned and operated by Matthew and Emma Skinner, local Busselton residents who are passionate about good service, clear communication and community.

We are proud to continue the legacy of the workshop while investing in its future – updating systems, refreshing the brand and expanding what we can offer, without losing the friendly, down-to-earth approach people know us for.

What’s staying the same

Some things will never change:

  • Trusted mechanical servicing and repairs for a wide range of vehicles

  • Honest advice about what your car actually needs

  • A focus on safety and reliability so you can drive with confidence

  • Friendly, local faces in the workshop and on the phones

Passmore Automotive has always been built on word-of-mouth and long-term relationships. We are committed to honouring that.

What’s new

Under the new ownership, we are gradually rolling out improvements designed to make life easier for our customers, including:

  • Clearer communication and reminders, so you know when your vehicle is due for servicing

  • Updated branding and signage, reflecting a more modern workshop while respecting its history

  • More behind-the-scenes systems, to keep track of service history and help us spot issues before they become problems

  • A growing focus on fleet support, helping local businesses keep their vehicles on the road

You’ll also see us more often in the community and online as we share tips, workshop updates and stories from the road.

Our role with RAC

Passmore Automotive is an RAC Roadside Assistance contractor in the Busselton region. That means when something goes wrong on the road, there is a good chance you will see one of our vehicles arriving to help.

From jump-starts and flat batteries to more complex issues that need workshop attention, our roadside work is an extension of what we do every day: getting people moving again, safely.

(Just to be clear, Passmore Automotive is not an RAC Approved Repairer – our relationship with RAC is through roadside assistance.)

Looking ahead

For us, taking on Passmore Automotive is about more than owning a business. It is about:

  • Supporting the Busselton and South West community

  • Providing stable, skilled local jobs

  • Keeping an important long-standing workshop thriving into its next chapter
